Brief Synopsis:

Norhaslinda Zainal Abidin is a senior lecturer in Decision Science at Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia. She holds an MSc in Decision Science from Universiti Utara Malaysia and obtained her Ph.D. in de from University of Salford, United Kingdom. She has managed to secure several national and university research grants. She has worked in several projects and her latest project including determining a competitive optimal export duty structure in Malaysian palm oil Industry using system dynamics and genetic algorithm approaches.  Her areas of research interests include system dynamics, simulation, optimization, and MCDM. She practices her quantitative discipline in various areas including healthcare, transportation, agriculture, as well as supply chain incorporating with researchers from different field of studies.

Her latest project is related to innovation index for SMEs in Malaysia which is a collaboration project with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Taylor’s University and Agency Innovation of Malaysia.

Dr. Nazrina Aziz is an expert in statistical analysis, sampling, estimation, and modeling, especially using large or complex datasets. Many of Dr. Nazrina’s consulting projects and research papers have related to the multivariate & survival data analysis and quality data. Dr. Nazrina’s can offer consulting, research, and development in the field of data analysis, statistical modeling & inference. Dr. Nazrina’s also run training workshops on statistical methods, sampling and statistical software.
