The driving motivation behind ISIDM’s formation was to enhance the university's research agenda and to showcase the experts that we have at the university, i.e Universiti Utara Malaysia.  Still at its infancy, ISIDM strives to strengthen and focus its research activities in the areas of health management, sports & tourism management, agriculture management and manufacturing/business management.

This can only be made possible by engaging research experts form the academia as well as close networking with the key players in the respective industries. Our research fellows as well as the working team are always challenging themselves to address the next frontiers in those fields and we are always looking for the next opportunities in research collaboration.
